In Session with Tyler Rhoads

With over 30 years of experience as an actor and director, Tyler combines an expert understanding of performance based narrative storytelling with a singular collaborative philosophy.

As a director, Tyler has worked in multiple facets of the VO world. He began his career as a booth director at Compost Productions and The VoiceCaster. From there, he pivoted to the world of localization, directing and adapting dialogue for projects such as Babylon Berlin, Fauda, Flavors of Youth, Godzilla: The Planet Eater, and the live action film adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist (yes, there are stories). Feeling the pull of more creative freedom, Tyler set his sights on the video game market. He has directed for titles such as Fallout 76, Guild Wars 2, Redfall, Dead By Daylight (where he directed Nicholas Cage), and Starfield, on which he clocked over 5,000 studio hours.

Originally from Jefferson City, Missouri, Tyler migrated to California in 2005, bringing with him a die-hard fandom for the St. Louis Cardinals and equally extreme opinions regarding barbecue. He’s a father of one, an enthusiastic home cook, a lover of tabletop/board games, and a relatively decent add to your pub trivia team (roughly in that order).
