Auditioning for Video Games with Pierce O’Toole
Pierce O’Toole has been working in video game voice over since 2013, starting as a note taker on Batman: Arkham Knight, and transitioning into directing in 2015. Recently, he has worked as the lead voiceover director on Cyberpunk 2077 and Halo Infinite, the former of which earned BAFTA nominations for lead and supporting performer.
Pierce earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Production from Emerson College, where he focused on directing for cinema. This time reinforced his love of actors and storytelling. These loves have allowed Pierce to work on titles in the LEGO, DC, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Marvel, and Jurassic franchises, as well as smaller indie projects like Omega Strikers and Drag Her! During these projects, he has worked with actors of all levels of fame and experience.
Pierce is a firm believer that immersing yourself in the world of a project and approaching with positivity and play are the best ways to approach any project. A belief that led to John Carpenter declaring Halo Infinite the “Best of the Halo series.”
