Auditioning for Video Games with Amanda Wyatt
Amanda Wyatt is a voice director for video games, known for such titles as Death Stranding, The Outer Worlds, Mortal Kombat 11, Far Cry 5, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Injustice 2, Halo 5, Assassin’s Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Knight, Skylanders and many more. Her unique combined experience in studio production, business development, theater performance, and directing has propelled her to be a top choice among AAA video game publishers.
She began her career in games as a producer for Soundelux DMG where she helped build their budding voice over department in the 90s. From there, Amanda transitioned to full time VO casting and directing, and eventually opened her own company, Talkback Casting and Directing. Her industry experience earned her the position of Studio Director for Game On Audio’s Venice recording facility. Here she was instrumental in opening the studio and continued to direct projects while managing its daily operations and staff. As of recently, Amanda has refocused solely on freelance casting and directing.
Amanda is a Southern California native and resides in Los Angeles. When she’s not directing, she enjoys spending time hiking and cooking with her husband and three children.
