Voice Trax West does training at all levels through group classes and 1 on 1 private study. Our goal is to help each person learn the craft of voiceover to suit their needs. If you're already an actor our beginning classes are a great way to stretch what you already know and apply it to voiceover. If you are new to acting we can get you started on the path to learning voiceover as you are discovering acting for the first time.
Our primary classes are 4 week beginning/intermediate commercial and animation. They take place at our studio on weekday evenings and occasionally weekends, and are taught by Susan Palyo, our demo producer for over 30 years. Check the schedule below for days and times. In addition to that, Susan also offers private coaching to work on copy 1 on 1.

Class Descriptions
COMMERCIAL VOICEOVER CLASSES
Our beginning /intermediate commercial class is taught by 30 year VO industry veteran Susan Palyo. The class is an intense 4 week copy workout covering all the most common types of commercial VO copy. Within the first hour of class, you will be reading copy in our professional recording booth. Class is limited to eight students, so you will get a generous amount of time in the booth. The class is an open forum to ask questions throughout.
We recommend this class for anyone totally new to voicover or to actors who are exploring voiceover for the first time.

ANIMATION VOICEOVER CLASSES
Our beginning animation class is taught by 20 year VO industry veteran Susan Palyo.The class is an intense 4 week character development copy workout. Within the first hour of class, you will be reading copy in our professional recording booth with the goal to develop 2 to 4 characters for your repertoire. The class takes place in our beautiful, professional studio where animation is recorded virtually everyday. Class is limited to eight students so you can get in the booth as much as possible in the four weeks. The class is an open forum to ask questions throughout.
